Well, Mike1, have you learned anything so far about the best way to prospect from this thread?

Or have you, like me, only seen classic examples of THE WRONG WAY to prospect? (See above.)

And people wonder why their prospecting fails to produce results!

My experience and observation over more than 25 years as a network marketing professional has been this...
  • There is NO single method that's worth using exclusively. You need to use a variety of prospecting methods and you need to use them relentlessly.
  • "Give first, then receive". Offer your prospects genuine value, with NO expectation of an immediate or direct result. This could be a web site(s), articles, forum posts, ebooks, special reports, ezines, etc, all with useful information, ideas, insights, free resources that position you as a valuable resource worth paying attention to, regularly.
Yes, this means being patient and having a longer-term outlook on your business. But it pays HUGE dividends. And, very often, "the longest way 'round is the shortest way home".
The secret?

Keep on doing the basics — and stop trying to eliminate all the leverage from your business!

Leverage is the process of using small numbers to create BIG numbers. But, in network marketing, everyone seems to want to use BIG numbers to create BIG numbers.

If you use BIG numbers to create BIG numbers, where's the leverage?

The reality?

Most are using BIG numbers (of ads, leads and especially MONEY) to create small or NO numbers as a result!

Is it any wonder that so many end up quitting in despair?

John
